Ozzie Perez

Ozzie Perez has been tattooing for 10 years. He First started tattooing in New York City in the late 1990's. Influenced by artists such as Bob Tyrell, Jack Rudy, Freddy Negrete, and Tom Renshaw, Ozzie's primary love is portraits and photo realism. Recently, however, Ozzie has been traveling to several tattoo conventions nation-wide. These travels have inspired Ozzie to venture into other ‘schools’ of tattooing.

Artists such as Mike Ribendall, Henning Jorgensen, and Shige have sparked an urge and desire for Ozzie to delve into the realm of Japanese motiffs – while artists like Juan Puente, Scott Sylvia, and Paco Excell have inspired a ‘traditional’ spark.

With so many influences, it’s hard for Ozzie to just pigeonhole himself, and strictly tattoo one style. Tattooing, simply put, just has too many beautiful schools to choose from, and Ozzie loves them all.

Ozzie currently resides in Philadelphia with his chinchilla “Poppy Seed”, and can be regularly found at a South Street bar with a pint of Guiness and a shot of Jameson.
